The air-conditioned hotel was built in 1964 and completely renovated in 2006. The hotel has an unusual architectural style and comprises a total of 260 rooms with 17 floors. Amongst the famous hotel's facilities count a foyer with a 24-hour reception, a currency exchange and lifts. Additional facilities include various lounges, including a reading room, a TV room and a games room. Furthermore, there is a hairdresser's, a boutique, 3 bars (Lobby bar, Snack bar and Piano bar). There is Internet access as well as a laundry service and parking facilities. In addition, younger guests are offered a children's playground and a kids club. Some services may carry an extra fee.

Location

This hotel is situated in Puerto de la Cruz just across the promenade from the beach. The city centre is only around 300 m away and San Telmo seawater swimming pool is just a few minutes away. An abundance of shops and entertainment venues are located in the immediate vicinity. Public transport links are to be found only 400 metres from the hotel.

Room

The comfortable rooms come with an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, a balcony, a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, a safe and air conditioning. A room with a minibar is available for all-inclusive bookings, it is available on payment of an additional fee for those booking half-board. Double bed or twin beds on request.

Sport

There are 2 swimming pools (one of which is heated) with separate children's pools, an indoor pool (within Spa - extra charge), a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols and a pool bar in the well-kept subtropical 10,000 m² garden complex. Guests have the option of using the in-house gym and table tennis and archery may be tried out free of charge. On payment of an additional fee, guests may play minigolf, billiards or tennis (floodlit) as well as make use of the sauna, Jacuzzi and the massage service (all with extra charge). There is a regular day and evening entertainment programme with live music and dance. The nearest golf course lies about 24 km from the hotel.

The Main Restaurant offers an international menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are 3 restaurants with different specialities: sea food, italian and spanish cuisine. Guests can have dinner 3 times a week in those restaurants (booking required).
