This popular club resort, which was renovated in 2007, has 145 well-equipped and comfortable bedrooms, many with sea views. It has a newly refurbished and comfortable bar & lounge area, conference and dining facilities, a lobby, 24-hour reception and lift access. The hotel also offers free car parking and is wheelchair accessible.

Location

The hotel is located on Blackpool's North Shore, within easy reach of all of Blackpool's attractions. The sandy beach at North Shore is just a stones throw away. The city centre and the nightlife and shopping available there are just a ten-minute walk away. Blackpool Pleasure Beach and Blackpool Tower are just a 10-minute drive away. Blackpool International Airport is located nearby, though it is also accessible from Liverpool John Lennon Airport and Manchester International Airport.

Room

All 145 bedrooms have all been tastefully refurbished in 2007. All rooms have en suite bathroom, hairdryer, TV, tea/coffee making facilities and many have beautiful views of the Irish Sea.

Sport

On certain dates the hotel has their resident keyboard player to sing some of the guest's favourite songs in the comfortable lounge.

Additional

The Gilbert Bistro restaurant offers a wide variety of foods. Breakfast is served buffet style with a range of foods. Dinner is waitress service with a 3 course meal including coffee. For a quick snack take a full menu in the Albany bar which is available throughout the day and evening. Room service is available until 9pm and sandwiches throughout.
