Renewed in 2004, the hotel Gran Canarias is was formerly Count Burgallal's old residence. Built in 1904, it consists of a 7-floor main building offering a total of 116 rooms, of which 4 are superior and 1 is a junior suite.

Location

Situated in the historical heart of Madrid, in Plaza Cánovas del Castillo (Neptuno), one of the most attractive squares in Madrid due to its rich and spectacular surroundings, a place where the biggest world concentration of art and painting combine in perfect harmony, the Prado Museum, Thyssen Bornemisza and the Reina Sofia Art Center. Art, politics, business, nature and the hotel concur in an almost geometric equidistance.

Room

Each room has been luxury decorated with every attention to detail giving an unmistakable warm elegance to please the most demanding guest. The rugs in each room are handmade and come from the Real Fábrica de Tapices Pedro Peña, the bathrooms feature Indian marble, and each room has a LCD flat screen and interactive TV System. All rooms have been designed and decorated to create an elegant and warm atmosphere. The walls show details of handmade Canary Island flora, the furniture is handmade in Iberian walnut. In addition, all the bathrooms are marble.

The hotel offers its guests use of the gym, situated on the top floor and enjoy with the stunning view.

A breakfast buffet is freshly made every morning and à la carte meals are available at lunchtime and in the evening. Special dietary requirements are catered for.
