This hotel is housed within a historical, palatial building that dates back to the early 18th century, which was lovingly restored in 2001. The splendid façade combined with the elegant interiors has allowed for the retaining of the classical Baroque features as well as the introduction of various modern features. This hotel enjoys a peaceful location in the small town of Villacarriedo, some 30 km to the south of Santander. The Pisueña region offers visitors untouched nature, in the Cabárcenos nature reserve for example. The nearest links to the public transport network lie approximately 300 m from the hotel and it is about 1.5 hours drive to the nearest ski area, which lies 90 km away. Transfer to Santander airport takes roughly 40 minutes.

Each of the rooms, which have been individually fitted by Paco Entrena, comes with an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, Internet access, a minibar, a hire safe and centrally controlled air conditioning. The junior suites are more spacious and also feature a separate lounge.

In the outdoor complex is a swimming pool with a terrace around which sun loungers have been laid out ready for use.
