Renovated in 2004, this air-conditioned hotel comprises a total of 110 rooms and 11 apartments as well as a terrace. The hotel offers guests a foyer with 24-hour reception desk, a hotel safe, a currency exchange desk and lift access. Furthermore, this beach hotel features a games room, a restaurant, a laundry service, medical care, public Internet access (charges apply), a kids' club (on the beach), a playground and a car park (for an additional fee) for those arriving by car. The highly professional staff guarantee guests an all-round relaxing stay and a holiday to remember.

Location

This family-friendly hotel is situated at the heart of Calella. The beach is only around 200 m away. Various shops as well as a bus stop and several restaurants and bars are within walking distance. Gerona airport lies around 43 km away, and it is roughly 72 km to Barcelona airport.

Room

The accommodation is divided into 80 double rooms, 9 single rooms, 11 family rooms, 9 junior suites, 1 honeymoon suite and 11 apartments. In addition, a fully fitted bathroom with hairdryer, a TV, air conditioning, central heating and a hire safe (charges apply) are provided in all accommodation as standard. Half of the lodgings feature a balcony (for an additional fee). The family rooms offer guests 45 m² and 5 beds. This hotel features connecting rooms for families of 4 or 5 persons (2 rooms and 2 fully fitted bathrooms with a connecting door). The junior suites are fitted with a fully equipped bathroom with a kidney-shaped bath tub, a double bed (1.5 m wide), a sofa bed, a fan and air conditioning. The apartments include a double living room, a dining room with a double bed (1.35 m), a fully fitted bathroom with jet stream bath tub, a hairdryer, air conditioning, central heating, satellite TV and a telephone.

Sport

In the outdoor complex there is a heated swimming pool and a poolside snack bar as well as sun loungers and free use of parasols. On the approximately 3 km long beach guests have the option to participate in various water sports. Bicycles may be borrowed for up to 2 hours free of charge (if available) and without reservation. Calella offers guests a special family tourism entertainment programme as well as an attractive pedestrian zone with many public squares some of which have children's playgrounds. Visitors will find Calella a centre for fiestas, cultural and sports events. Sun loungers and parasols are also available for a surcharge on the beach.

Additional

Guests may choose their breakfast, lunch and evening meals from a buffet, and the hotel offers \"\"show-cooking\"\" events. In the months of July and August, there is a special children's buffet available for our younger guests. Every Friday culinary themed buffets from the regions of Spain, Catalonia etc are on offer. Complimentary coffee and cakes are served every day between 3 pm and 4 pm (with the exception of the period between 1st July and 26th August). It is possible to book a half-board, full-board or Bed & Breakfast stay.
